In my research, I've found that buying tablecloths is actually cheaper than renting them either directly with the rental company or through your caterer. Tablecloths cost $10-$12/each to rent and on ebay they are $7-$8. I purchased 20 tablecloths (any color) for $155. And after you use them you can wash them and then sell them on craigslist and get your $$ back!
Hey - $200 really helps these days!
So don't rent your tablecloths, BUY THEM!
EBAY! EBAY! EBAY!
My heart is my New Year present to you.

I read the story about the girl whose wedding was ruined by that vendor! We bought our linens cheaper than we could rent them and plan to sell them after the wedding.King size sheets are expensive even when you find them on clearance. You might as well rent the table linens. You can try places like Ross, Marshalls and TJ Maxx, thats where I usually buy my sheets and they are usually cheaper.

If you're afraid to ask the question, it's probably because you already know the answer. Do you agree?

Another idea, give your wedding centerpieces as wedding favors to special aunts, cousins, and close lady friends!
